Preschool-aged children are exposed to many different ways to self-regulate their bodies and minds. A key development towards independence is the ability to employ self-soothing techniques as the moment calls for them. Mindfulness begins in even our youngest classrooms! In this episode, Cookie Monster can't wait for his cookies to be done baking! His friend Mr. Andy from Headspace is here to help with a Monster Meditation utilizing the strategy, I-Sense - exploring the wonder of each of our five senses, one at a time.
