Activity Overview
In this activity, students have the experience of taking their growing sense of symbolism and using it to attach personal meaning to objects that represent themselves. By doing the activity along with the child, the adult who is supporting the work models that we are all unique, and that the objects that symbolize or hold meaning for one person may not be the same for another. This difference, this uniqueness, is what makes every person important, because we each have our own point of view.
