Activity Overview
A staple in preschool guided play is playdough of all kinds. Our favorite is homemade, and there are many recipes to sample. Take the time to make playdough with your student, it can be stored and saved for future fine motor activities. This recipe is no-cook and most of the steps can be done by the student. This is a great opportunity for your student to be fully engrossed in the making process and will allow them to feel ownership and pride and the end of the work. If you have already been on your gross motor nature walk, you can add some of your natural materials into the playdough and allow your student to explore their new creation!
