Dear Parents,

Welcome to 2nd grade at Ave Maria Academy!  My name is Terry Farnsworth and I’m looking forward to an exciting school year.  Second grade is a year filled with many wonderful transitions and milestones.  From printing to cursive handwriting, and most importantly our Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

It’s important that we work together to help your child grow spiritually, academically, and socially this year.  Please check my Ave Maria Academy Classroom Website daily and FACTS to keep up with Homework Assignments and other Ave Maria Academy News and Information.

This is my 39th year of teaching in Catholic Education!  I’m so honored to be part of our Ave Maria Academy.  This will be my 21st year teaching second grade, and I have also taught 3rd grade for 14 years.  I was blessed to have been given the gift of a Catholic Education for my grade school, high school and college.  It is a privilege to educate your child, and share our Catholic Faith.
