Welcome to second grade! I am so excited to have you join me this year. I have been doing a lot of planning this summer and have many exciting things in store for you and your classmates. This is a very special year for you. You will be making your First Reconciliation and First Communion. You will learn cursive handwriting, present reports, visit the Mt. Lebanon Safety Center, and a lot more.
We are going to make some great memories this year. Make sure your pencils are sharpened and ready to use! Your first homework assignment is to bring in an empty paper towel roll, to create a time capsule. I’m looking forward to a fun-filled year of learning with you! I hope you enjoy the last few days of summer!
