Hello, my name is Mrs. Gamrat and I will be the art and computer teacher for many of the students this year at both MTL and Bethel locations. I entered IUP as an art student and later changed my degree to education. I am so excited to begin this year and wanted to give you an idea of some of the topics we'll cover in art and computer.

ART

We will be studying the basics such as the color wheel/ color theory, the 7 elements of art, some of my favorite artists and the techniques they use. Each grade will learn these things at an appropriate level for their age.
COMPUTER
Depending on the grade, the students will be learning-
-hand placement for the keyboard
-websites like Happy Numbers
-computer skills
-how to make slideshows
-making presentations
