Reading - Students will read stories- A Barn Full of Hats, A Lost Button, Sort It Out.
High-Frequency Words- four, large, none, only, put, round
Phonics- Introduce ar sound. Blend sounds to form words. Identify these sounds in initial and medial position of words.
Identify rhyme, identify contractions with not, use words and illustrations to visualize, or create pictures in their minds, review words with short i, review strategy, make and confirm predictions, and review characteristics of literature called fantasy.
