3rd Grade Expectations

Homework Expectations

• Homework is placed on your child’s desk at the beginning of the day and should be placed in their accordion folder in the Home Tab immediately. This ensures all students receive the homework.

• All homework is graded for completion and points will be taken off if turned in late.

• Assignments can be found in your child’s planner or the class website.

•  Spelling Packet: 4 points per week

• Math Worksheet: 1 point (1/2 point will be taken deducted if late or incomplete)

• If your child needs to make up work or is absent for any reason, I will communicate that by writing it in your child's planner. 

Simple Solutions

• Math and ELA 10-point checkpoint quiz every 4 lessons

Missing Work

• If a student has any missing work from the week by the end of the day Friday, (handwriting pages, other graded classwork, it must be completed over the weekend.
