Ceramic coatings can be described as a chemical formula where the main component is SiO2, also known as silicon dioxide, which is most commonly found in nature as quartz. This compound is chemically formulated to create a semi permeant bond with the clear coat of your automobiles painted surfaces which forms a thin glass like barrier between the world and your automotive painted surfaces.
This nano-technology can prevent light marring and provides a hydrophobic effect rivaled by no other wax, sealant, or glaze keeping your paint protected and making your vehicle easier to wash. It’s weather resistant and will inhibit UV damage. Once cured it provides a high gloss finish all while preventing oxidation and corrosion in the most extreme environments.
First and foremost, it is highly recommended to have the paint surface defect free with the aid of our paint correction packages, as any scratches, swirls, holograms, etc. will be locked under the coating for up to 5 years. It is imperative that the paints surface is contaminate free of things like tree sap, iron deposits, tar, dirt, and grime, which will all be taken care of by us before any coating is applied. Once the surface is defect and contaminate free, we will perform what is known in the detailing world as an IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) wipe down to ensure no residual oils are left present on the paint surface, promoting a strong bond with the ceramic coating. The coating needs a full 48 hours to cure, meaning it is very important no moisture is introduced with in this time period.
