Teacher of the Week for April 25-29

Ms. Lamm has been working here at Lively for 6 years as a school counselor. As a counselor she teaches SEL (social emotional learning), academic support, college and career readiness, and high school readiness. She is also seen helping out wherever she is needed, like during lunch making sure everyone is safe and where they need to be. She chose to work as a middle school counselor “because middle school is the toughest time.” In Ms. Lamm’s free time she likes to cook, bake, garden, she likes pottery and ceramics. She even bought her own pottery wheel in quarantine. She loves Lively and would never think of working at any other middle school.

Coach Perry teaches physical education and has been teaching it for the past 5 years. She says she chose to teach physical education because it's her passion and has wanted to be a P.E. teacher since she was in 6th grade. In her free time she takes her kids to and from their sports practice and she volunteers with her son's track team. Coach Perry truly loves what she does!
Teacher of the Week for April 11-14

Mr. Jennings started working at Lively about 3-4 months ago and he already seems to be fitting right in. He teaches eighth grade U.S. history. He chose that subject because he enjoys talking and learning about history. He also enjoys reading about history and reading in general. In his free time he likes to workout, coach football (he helps out at Travis High School), he likes to watch movies, play video games, and he also likes to go to the gym. We think he is a great addition to the Falcon staff and we are happy to have him as a teacher.

As a student at Lively, I can agree with the choice of making Coach Fleming Teacher of the Week. He’s a kind, caring hardworking teacher and coach. Coach Fleming teaches boys physical education, and he says he chose that subject because he likes to workout and exercise. Coach Fleming has been working here since the year 2000, which is another reason why we think he deserves Teacher of the Week. In Coach Fleming’s free time he likes to listen and play music, he plays bass guitar at his church in his spare time.
