Why are we switching to a new publishing company?

At the beginning of this school year, our yearbook rep from our previous publishing company left to work with a different company. At that point our adviser and EICs had to make the decision to either stay or look into different companies. We decided to meet with yearbook publishers and chose to print with Walsworth.

If I already purchased a book on the previous publisher's website, is my order still valid or will I lose my money and have to buy another book?

We have the list of buyers from the previous company and will upload them into our new system. So if you have already purchased a book you will not need to buy again.

Will changing to a new company delay getting our books printed?

No, we will still have our books printed and distributed in mid-May. The only change is that you will now be directed to purchase yearbooks and senior ads through Walsworth's website.

How do I get in touch with the studio for yearbook portraits?

The company that takes our portraits for the yearbook is 1st Photo. To schedule an appointment at their studio, call the office at 512-610-9990. They can do underclassmen photos (first time and retakes) at the studio as well. The sitting fee is $20. (For seniors, this includes one-on-one time with the photographer, yearbook and cap and gown photos on the grey background and black background. Photos will be added to a personal gallery to view, purchase and select your yearbook photo.) The 1st Photo studio is located at 9951 Anderson Mill Road, Suite 100A, Austin, TX 78750.
