Welcome to the Murchison Dance Department 

The Murchison Middle School Dance Department is a great chance for students to build confidence and creativity, while learning a variety of dance styles. Dancers will develop skills in hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, and more! Throughout the year-long program, students will also gain experience attending live dance rehearsals and performances. Ultimately, we strive for a supportive environment where students can thrive and have fun!   

Additionally, the Junior Belles Dance Team plays a crucial role in our program. This opportunity is for 7th and 8th grade students who want to take a step further in their dance education, improve leadership skills, and who are interested in joining a high school dance team. Auditions are held yearly in March with officer auditions following in May.
