Beginning Band is for any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader that wants to learn instrumental music-making in the band setting.  No previous instrument experience is necessary.  Instruments include flute, clarinet, trumpet, saxophone, french horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, and percussion.

Students spend the year in homogeneous or like-part classes learning how to play their instrument, music theory, and music literacy.

Students have four (4) concerts per year that include a fun Boo Bash and Winter Concerts.  We end the year on a high note by taking a trip to Austin Park's and Pizza!
