Meet the Director
Ms. Havelka is a first year teacher here at Lively Middle School. As you have probably collected, she teaches dance and is the Director for the JV and Varsity Lively dance teams. She studied at Texas State University, graduating with a BFA in Dance Education and with a minor in technical theater. In her time at Lively Ms. Havelka hopes to teach dance to students of all backgrounds, and make dance more accessible. Who We Are
No prior experience is required to join a Dance Wellness class, and the only step to joining it is marking it under your preferred PE credit while filling out your choice sheets. Encore dance club is also open to any student who wishes to go. Auditions to join the Royal Blues or Dazzlers dance team happen yearly, and the 2025/2026 auditions have already passed. People from all grade levels may audition and gender/ sex is not of importance. The only qualification is that you must go to Lively Middle School.
