If you feel there is an error on your student's schedule and want to request a schedule review, please fill out the Schedule Review form.
Lamar Counseling Department is working diligently to ensure all students have a schedule the first days of school. We will handle concerns and questions as quickly as we can, but may not be able to respond before the first day of school. Students should walk their schedule as it appears until further notice of changes made.
Elective classes are selected directly from your student's choice sheet. While we prioritize their top picks, scheduling constraints mean a student might receive a combination of choices—such as getting their 1st choice for one period, but an 8th or 9th choice for another.
"Due to District staffing allocations, class size, class leveling, scheduling conflicts and other considerations, students may not receive their first choice for elective classes. Some classes may not be available due to staffing constraints and staffing changes."
