Hi! I am Mrs. Schwartz. I am the one who wears the goofy headbands at morning drop-off!

I was born and raised in Austin, TX. I graduated from Baylor University with an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. After teaching for a few years, I attended the University of Texas at Austin, where I got my Master's in Social Work. I worked with abused and neglected children and then transitioned to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. I've also had a career as a curriculum coordinator where I wrote STAAR tests.

I have two rambunctious and adorable children. Dane is in 2nd grade, and Lily is in Kindergarten! I'm so lucky to have them on campus with me.

Hi! I am Mrs. Amanda, and I am so excited to be your school counselor at Kiker! I have been a licensed clinician for 13 years. I started my career in 2010, working at the Center for Child Protection as a crisis and trauma therapist. For the past 7 years, I have been working with children, teens & adults in private practice. I look forward to bringing my knowledge & skills to the Kiker community. I grew up in SE TX; however, my biological father has lived here most of my life, so I consider myself an Austinite as I spent much of my childhood here. My family & I have been in Circle C for 7 years. My husband & I have been together for 25 years & have lived in ATX for most of that time. We have a 21-year-old son, Ewan, & some of you may know my Little, Callum, who is in 4th grade. I have spent some time volunteering in the front office & have had the opportunity to see how amazing this school is.
