Here is a preview of content that will be covered in each class for the week of September 24-26:
Math - We will practice our rounding strategies. We will learn to round into the thousandths place. We will start looking at multi-step problems, including problems with variables. You can help at home by practicing multiplication and division facts. You can access my math website HERE.
Science- Students will test and observe the physical properties of matter ⚛️
ELA - Students will use revising and editing skills to polish expository essay about one of the U.S. regions.
Social Studies - We will kick of our U.S. History timeline by learning about Roanoke and other early colonies.
Reading - Students will continue developing their reading comprehension skills by focusing on Making Inferences, Author's Craft and Author's Purpose. We will also continue on our Novel Study of Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt.
