Austin ISD Celebrates Gifted & Talented Students Week!

The first week of April (April 6-10) is Gifted and Talented Students Week! This is a special time created by the 89th Texas Legislature to celebrate and support Gifted & Talented (GT) education across the state.

Here in Austin ISD, our Gifted & Talented (GT) services are designed to support K-12 students who have exceptional talents and unique learning needs. These students come from all backgrounds, including those who are learning multiple languages or who have disabilities or learning differences.

We encourage our community to learn more about GT students and their needs, and to recognize the wonderful contributions they make every day in our classrooms and to the world.
