Students in 6th grade attending Covington Middle School Fine Arts Academy are required to take one year-long music/performance class (Band, Choir, Guitar or Orchestra).

Students in 7th or 8th grade are only required to take one semester of physical education. Other alternatives are one year of Athletics (Fall/Spring) or one year of Dance.
