TX Bluebonnet Books Reading Program

TEXAS BLUEBONNET READING PROGRAM

• Program for students in 3rd-6th grade

• Students read books from the 2024-2025 list

• Students who read at least 5 books can vote for their favorite book to win the coveted Texas Bluebonnet Book Award.  Voting takes place in January

• Students who read at least 8 books, get to attend the Bluebonnet Reader Party! (March)

• Students who read all 20 can join a field trip to the Austin Public Library in the spring.

• Students log each book they read via a form found in the Library area of their AISD Portal dashboard.
