Bear Creek Elementary is excited to provide all of our students the opportunity to participate in a choice driven science conference that allows them to not only learn about personally relevant topics but to also develop their communication, critical thinking, and presentation skills. The purpose of the conference is to spark community dialogue about science in as many different ways as possible and to create the understanding that science is not limited to a "science fair" at Bear Creek Elementary, it is a dominant part of our culture.

Instead of providing a single project topic, we want to give students a choice. The goal is to promote relevant engagement as well as a greater sense of ownership.
