Dear Families,
Here are a couple of reminders and needs.
Restock School Supplies
Please restock your student's pencil pouch with pencils, markers, and glue sticks. Also if your student does not have headphones, please send another pair.
Smart Watches and Phones
Thank you for supporting us and instructing your child to place their phones and smartwatches in their backpacks.
Chromebooks kept at school
We are requesting students to keep their devices at school. Students can access our content remotely via any device by going through their student portal. If a student is routinely not finishing work, we would like to partner with you to find a different solution. Our office does not have loaner devices to supply our students.
Rubik's cubes, fidgets, slime and slinkys
Teachers would appreciate your encouragement of your children keeping these items at home.
Next week:
Reading- We are presenting our biography projects to parents and different classes. We will be finishing our novel, Bridge to Terabithia, and will be watching the movie.
Writing- Students will rehearse U.S. Historical Figure Presentations.
Social Studies- We will learn about the 50 states & capitals.
Math- Check your student's Personal Learning Path on our 5th Grade BCE Math website. Please ask your student to share their "Progress Monitoring" sheet with you for updated data. Feel free to practice your math fluency using Quizlet or 99 math
Science- Learning about wildlife rehabilitation and wildlife laws. 🦅

May I grow so tall and bright, so free and wild, so brave and vibrant that when you see me standing you think I am a sunflower.

Show the children every winged thing. The bees, dragonflies, queen ants, bluebirds, luna moths & swallowtails. Creatures that inspire them to defy gravity.
