Welcome everyone!

 My name is Jason Binney, and I want to welcome you to the Licensed Vocational Nursing program. This is the start of a powerful journey—one that will challenge you, but also transform you into the nurse you’re meant to become.

 I’ve spent years working as a Registered Nurse in a variety of Critical Care settings. I know success doesn’t come from being perfect—it comes from showing up, putting in the work, and refusing to give up when things get tough. Remember: you already have what it takes to succeed.

 Outside of coaching, I enjoy traveling with family, fishing, and chess. I encourage you to find your "WHY." Hold onto it to keep you balanced and grounded. Nursing school will be demanding, but balance is what helps you thrive, not just survive.

 Every skill you practice, every lecture you attend, every late-night study session—it’s all preparing you to save lives, to comfort families, and to make a difference. Nursing is more than a career; it’s a calling.

 I want to leave you with this thought: “Nursing school may test your patience, your endurance, and your willpower—but it is shaping your hands, your mind, and your heart for the lives you will one day touch.”
