The Good News Report

The Good News Report was created in honor of QueenSamantha and her enduring legacy of joy and is inspired by Student Affairs Staff Development's “Joy Wall”.

Every month, employees from every corner of ACC share moments worth celebrating. It might be a big department achievement, a small act of kindness, a student success story, or just something that made you smile.

As QueenSamantha said, happiness is a choice. By sharing and spotlighting moments of compassion, gratitude, and celebration, we actively support our college’s values of joy and compassion. We all need a little more good news - and this is our way of spreading it and reminding each other to look for the good and choose joy.

All those moments are gathered together so we can lift each other up and remind ourselves of the good happening all around us. Maze shares a summary at each Board of Trustees meeting, along with a full printed copy, to make sure our leaders see the joy and dedication fueling this district every day.
