Learn more about how ACC is supporting student's success through new initiatives!
Post-registration support provides assistance to students who have a compelling reason to be added/reinstated to a course that has already started and still has openings. We cannot assist you with classes that have not started yet. Registration is open for future sessions, and you can get assistance from ACC's Registration Stations.
We are only authorized to assist students through the first week of the semester session, and the form closes at noon on Friday. For the Fall 2026 semester, those dates are:
August 26-28 for the 16-wk & 1st 8-wk sessions
September 11-13 for the 14-wk session
September 23-25 for the 12-wk session
October 21-23 for the 2nd 8-wk session
Any requests after these dates must be directed to the academic department(s) of the course(s) you are requesting.
This form does not replace academic advising. Please consult with your advisor before submitting to ensure the courses you are requesting align with your academic plan and career goals.
Before you submit your request, please read these important guidelines. Following them will help you get the assistance you are requesting as quickly as possible. Do not complete this form multiple times for the same request; it will only delay our response time.
General Guidelines
We can only field requests for current students who are registered for at least one class this semester. See college rule.
We cannot add you to a class that is full.
We cannot add you to a class you have never been registered for except in cases (1) and (2) below.
We will consider adding/reinstating you in a class for the following reasons:
needing a course to graduate from ACC this semester,
cases involving college error, or
requests for reinstatement into a class from which a student was dropped due to nonpayment after the add/drop period (seats must still be available).
If you accidentally dropped yourself from a course after the add/drop period, the professor (or a representative of the department) must send a completed Instructor-Initiated Request for Reinstatement form directly to the ACC Registrar to have you reinstated.
Department-Specific Requests
This form is for core curriculum / academic transfer course requests only. If you do not see the four-letter rubric (e.g., BIOL, ENVR, MATH, etc.) for the course you are requesting in the form's drop-down menu, you will need to direct your request for that course to the department.
For workforce program courses, you must contact the appropriate department chair.
For paired INRW + ENGL requests, you must contact the department.
If you've read and understood these guidelines, please complete the form using the link below. We will do our best to contact you via your ACCmail address within 24-48 hours.
