Grading Criteria

Goals: Portfolio demonstrates understanding of goal-setting strategies, including writing clearly articulated goals based on reflection and outlining specific steps for future academic and personal growth.

Reading Strategies: Portfolio demonstrated understanding of reading strategies, including how to choose and apply strategies. 

Writing Strategies: Portfolio illustrates the use of writing strategies and demonstrates the use of reflection to improve written work. 

Portfolio:  Student reflects on the patterns of behavior/habits from this semester. Shows self-reflection with a plan for improvement. Supports claims with specific examples from real life.  

Special Skill (Optional): Student showcases a special skill from outside of the classroom. 

Use of Evidence: The portfolio includes uses of specific examples and evidence to support reflections throughout the portfolio. 

Presentation of Website: The website is well organized and polished, with a clear and engaging presentation format. Little to no grammar/mechanical errors are present. Effort and preparation can be seen in the overall look of the website.
