Hello, And Welcome To My Page!

A little info about myself.  I graduated from ACC with my ADN in May 2011 and obtained my BSN from Texas A&M in 2012.  As a new nurse, I started at Brackenridge Hospital in downtown Austin on a Neurology/Oncology floor, and it was amazing.  As I perfected the art of nursing, I found that I loved the at-the-elbow teaching aspect and went on to obtain my MSN in 2015.  After helping to implement the new technologies into Dell Seton at The University of Texas, I decided it was time for a change and found my love of teaching. I started teaching with the ACC Professional Nursing Department in August 2017.  Here I found my true passion: teaching first-semester nursing students!  

I reside in Dripping Springs with my husband, Sam, and two kiddos, Penelope and Carter. They are super involved in sports and activities like baseball, football, and volleyball. I dabble in sourdough bread making and all the yummy sourdough discard recipes. We have two purrfect (see what I did there :) kitties, Luna (gray) and Aurora (beige).

I love all things Taylor Swift, reading, yoga, Lily's Dark Chocolate, succulents/plants, Texas A&M Baseball and Football, and cat videos.

I am so excited that you are here with us and to get to know every one of you! My students' well-being and understanding of the content are my utmost priority.  My door is always open for chats, personal or academic.
