Austin Community College (ACC) proudly announces a partnership between Access & Disability Support and Career Services to celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) this October 2025. Together, these teams are hosting the Inclusive Futures Series — a monthlong lineup of career development sessions designed to empower students with disabilities with the tools, confidence, and connections they need to succeed in the workplace.
Each week will focus on a key area of career readiness, including resume preparation, interview readiness, job search skills, and job fair preparation, culminating in a Reverse Job Fair featuring disability-friendly employers. This collaboration reflects ACC’s commitment to equity and inclusion, aligning with the U.S. Department of Labor’s NDEAM initiative, which celebrates the contributions of America’s workers with disabilities and showcases inclusive employment practices across the nation.
