Welcome to our celebration of Hispanic Heritage!
This display was created to honor the vibrant tapestry of cultures, histories, and traditions that make up Hispanic heritage. Hispanic Heritage month is celebrated annually during September 15 through October 15, and multiple Latinx countries celebrate their independence anniversaries during this time period. ACC Library services is embracing the diversity and complexity of our campus and the heritage many of our students share. The selections in this display are chosen to help share the history of various Latinx/American cultures and highlight achievements, with a focused spotlight on Gus Garcia, a Mexican American lawyer and civil rights activist who fought against segregation.
Please note: Each section in this display will contain a variety of resources including books, ebooks, films and databases. All physical items are located throughout all ACC campus libraries and can be transferred to any campus for students, faculty, and staff use.
