Welcome!
Read below to learn more about Bartlett ISD ACE program.
Meet Rachel Fahrig!
I arrived at Bartlett Schools from the Texas Education Agency where I worked in the Division of School Improvement. There, I helped school leaders across the state improve systems and student outcomes. Prior to that position, I developed high school science and engineering curricula and provided instructional support at The University of Texas at Austin, Round Rock ISD, the Texas Water Development Board, the Baltimore Zoo, and the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services. I was a secondary science teacher and I was an elementary music teacher, too! I have worked as an educator for over 19 years, in both public and non-traditional settings, where I have supported and led teachers and educational leaders for more than 15 years. In addition to being an educator, I worked in banking trust operations, non-profit development and management, and legal client services. I graduated with a B.A. from Western Michigan University and earned my M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Texas State University.
I have a 13-year old son, a 9-year old dog (Bailey), a 7-year old cat (Penelope), and a 15(ish)-year old turtle (Turtle). I like gardening, reading, listening to music, and watching baseball and hockey.

Meet Jessica Luna!
I have been in education for 11 years. I have taught in Temple ISD, Clear Creek ISD, and Bartlett ISD. My family and I moved back home to Bartlett when we had children, and built our life here. If you have ever been through Bartlett, or work with their children, you will fall in love immediately. I taught both self-contained and departmentalized, mainly in grades K-5, before I realized a passion for teaching students with reading disabilities. I then went back to school to become a CALT (Certified Academic Language Therapist), and now specialize in Dyslexia Therapy for the entire district at Bartlett ISD. When I moved to Bartlett I discovered their ACE program and the positive impact it has on families in the community. I am proud to say I now also work as the ACE Program Assistant and get to have experiences in helping lead events for the community, plan education experiences for community members, and lead teachers in providing enriched lessons to help close the learning gaps in the district..
A little more about me:
My husband, Josh and I have been married for 8 years. We have 2 boys, Kai (7 years old) and Canaan (5 years old). I love anything outdoors, fishing, hiking, or just spending time enjoying the sunshine. I love sports, but football and baseball are my absolute favorites.
