Faculty from the INRW department at ACC will lead a session about approaches and resources for faculty as they work to support the underprepared students in their courses.
ACC content area faculty will lead a discussion about how to facilitate research using the evolving ACC Library search engines. All interested faculty are encouraged to attend and bring questions, concerns, challenges from Summer and Fall 2017 semesters, and any solutions or “workarounds” that they have found to increase student success with research papers and projects.

In this session faculty will have an opportunity to ask all the questions they always wanted to ask about retirement, educational advancement, wellness, ORP vs TRS, health insurance, etc., but were too busy to ask.

Representatives from the Associate Degree Nursing Department will facilitate a discussion about approaches to adjunct faculty orientation, engagement and retention based on their experiences in the health sciences courses. ACC staff and faculty, and especially adjunct faculty members from all disciplines are invited to share their own experiences and brainstorm ideas for continued improvement.
