With 100+ programs, 600+ scholarships, student support services, and more, ACC is truly for everyone. Our recruiters want to help your students learn more about how ACC can help them get to where they want to go.
Recruiters can help your students through the enrollment process virtually or in-person. The Application Assistance events typically take place in a group setting. Students will receive guidance on how to start and submit their ACC application
Students can request an individual appointment to learn more about ACC, start the enrollment process, check their application status, and more. Students can schedule a virtual appointment via Calendly with their assigned recruiter.
Austin Community College is offering in-person tours at the Hays. Rio Grande, Highland, and Round Rock campuses. Book a tour here! Want to book a tour for a large group? We've got you covered, book a group tour here!
Our recruiters would love to connect with your students at college fairs and other school events. Please contact your assigned recruiter via email to book a recruiter for your next event.
This is where we will list our presenters and their contact information.
How do I become an ACC Student?
New students need to complete ACC's Enrollment Steps in order to become an ACC student. Students who have already taken courses at ACC don't need to reapply. Instead, they will go straight to Registration.
What programs does ACC offer?
ACC offers over a 100 different programs in 10 different areas of study. These programs range from quick certificates to Bachelor's degrees. Explore all that ACC has to offer here.
Do I need to provide college-readiness test scores for admission?
That depends. If you are looking to pursue a Level 1 Certificate, then you don't need to provide any test scores. If you plan on pursuing anything above a Level 1 Certificate, you will need to provide scores. You can find more information about assessment requirements and exemptions here.
How do I start my application?
You start by going to austincc.edu/admissions and clicking on the purple "Apply Now" button under Step 2. On the following purple page you'll select "First Time Users" and create an application account. Use a personal email and remember your password! You'll need the email and password you created to sign in on the purple login page and to start an application.
Where can I check my application status?
You can check your application status by signing into your application account.
How do I activate my acceid and email?
After you complete the application process, you will receive instructions on how to activate your student ID number (EID) and email. If you aren't able to find these instructions in your personal email, you may also find them here. If you run into any issues while activating your ID and email, please contact our Help Desk for support.
Does ACC offer online classes?
ACC offers several different class options to met your scheduling needs. Online classes and in-person classes are only two of the many options we offer. View descriptions of all the options here.
When do I need to register for courses by?
That depends on when you'd like to start! We encourage students to register sooner rather than later in order to secure their required courses. However, ACC offers a variety of course lengths (1-16 weeks) during a semester and new students are able to register for a course up to the day before the first class day. You can also find other important dates and deadlines here.
How do I meet with an advisor?
As a student of ACC you will be assigned an academic advisor based on the program you selected when applying to ACC. You can find out who your assigned advisor is here. You can then reach out to them directly to schedule an advising appointment.
How do I apply for financial aid?
Financial aid can help you pay for college. Most students are eligible for some type of assistance – from grants, scholarships, loans, or work-study. The Financial Aid Office at Austin Community College will work with you to explore options and access the funds you need to achieve a college education. On their website you'll find more information about deadlines, be able to request application support, and watch helpful "How To" videos. Also, don't forget about ACC's 500+ scholarship opportunities! You can apply for all of them with just one application here.
Where can I see what classes are available?
You can find course information like availability, assigned instructor, location, days, and times on ACC's course schedule. Make sure to view the course schedule guide to learn more about the terms and information you'll see listed.
How do I get involved on campus?
Interested in sports? We've got them. Want to join a student organization? We've got 1000+ to choose from. Build a stronger connection with your peers and the college by participating in Student Life events and organizations. Find an event and/or organization here.
