The NRG and SAC offices will be moving between November 30 - December 4.

Packing up your office:
Divide your items into what gets moved, and what doesn’t
Here are major categories of things that won’t get moved:
Personal items — Pack these up in your own boxes and take home.
Items to throw away — Dispose of in trash cans
Items to recycle — older/outdated books: normally we leave these in the hallway for people to take. You can put them in the recycling bin or take them with you to donate elsewhere
Furniture in your office: we will have brand new furniture at HLC, no need to tag any furniture
Items not allowed to move to HLC:
Microwaves
Coffeepots
Refrigerators
Lamps
Space Heaters
(INSERT CONTACT NAME) will handle all technology and peripherals. You won’t have to worry about packing or organizing those items.
If you want an item moved to HLC, you must place it in a labeled crate.
All crates must be labeled in the following way:
Enter your office or classroom number—these are listed at the end of this section.
Place two labels on each crate, one on each of the small ends (not on top!) It will say “Place Label Here.”

How to “crate”:
Put the EMPTY crate on the dolly first before you start packing. You don't want to lift that heavy crate!
Place your items in the crate.
Label the crate as instructed above.
Take a picture of the crate contents without the lid.
Close the lid on the crate.
For your next crate, stack it EMPTY on top of your full crate that is already on the dolly.
Only 5 crates per stack
Repeat until finished.
Email or Slack (INSERT CONTACT) to tell her how many crates total you packed.
*PRO TIP* You may want to put your heaviest items in that first crate (bottom crate).
Fill out this form for each room or office you pack to let us know how many crates you filled.
