Dr. John Su is the founder and president of AcuTouch Acupuncture and Herb Center in Austin, Texas. Dr. Su earned his Doctor of Medicine Degrees from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine, one of China’s top medical schools. He had medical training under Dr. Sun Shen Tian, one of the top 10 acupuncture doctors in China. He is the author of five books on Chinese medicine and has published more than a dozen research papers in various professional journals. Dr. Su is reputedly one of the leading and most skillful acupuncturists in practice, with more than 23 years of experience. He is particularly well known for his application of Acupuncture for the treatment of various diseases. He was also the Senior Professor and Clinic Supervisor at the nationally recognized Texas Health and Science University.
Mark Leidig has been an adjunct Professor of Kinesiology at ACC Northridge Campus since 1989. He specializes in courses pertaining to martial arts. Mark introduced T’ai Chi Ch’uan to the ACC Health and Kinesiology curriculum in the early 1990s. He also created the ACC classes Martial Arts Conditioning and Martial Arts Weaponry. In addition to this, Mark has maintained a regular Aikido class since 1989 and taught Target Archery and Self Defense for many years. He won the ACC Teaching Excellence Award in 2000 and has been nominated several more times.
