We love our volunteers! We offer various types of volunteer engagements during the pandemic recovery time, including online helpers, behind the scenes volunteering at home, and in-person work for vaccinated volunteers. Core volunteer applications application are being accepted for in-person volunteering. Positions are limited and not all candidates can be accepted, based on number of hours and commitment and timing. We are currently seeking about 15 first-time volunteers for 30 hours in 2021, about ten second term volunteers (those who volunteered with us 30 hours in the past) to help train and manage our first-term volunteers and a few third term volunteers to help guide our core volunteer direction and key strategic events. We do not currently have open volunteer dates but anticipate being able to add those in the fall at least once a month. Watch our website at vol.SYMin.org for developments and to apply.

We continue to have three main other volunteer opportunities. One is virtual volunteerism from home. Another is "theme work" where you help us with preparations and holding our weekly theme weeks. And the final is to join us as an online event helper. We strongly suggest you choose one method per semester. If you volunteered with us in the past, you know how much volunteers have helped us and what an impact you can make on clients' lives.
