Our mission is to foster conservation and reuse through creativity, education, and community building

We have many different opportunities for students to help at Austin Creative Reuse.  We always need helping sorting and processing the wide variety of materials we get in the center.  We also have opportunities for students to pick up projects and complete them at a different location and return them to us when they are complete.  Students who are interested in the non-profit field can reach out to ACR individually about more administrative opportunities to learn about what working in a non-profit is like.

Group Volunteering

We love hosting student group volunteers! If you have 2-8 students, join us for a community volunteer session (listed below). If you would like to bring 7-18 volunteers, fill out a group volunteering inquiry form and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. We are open for group volunteering most Friday afternoons and some weekends (but this availability is limited).

We can also bring the volunteering to you! Fill out the group inquiry form if you would like to pick up materials for a volunteer project to be completed at your location. Great for any size of group (2-99 people) and for completing service hours during meetings or in class!

Individual Volunteering

We welcome students and their friends to join us at our weekly Community Volunteering sessions. These are easy to sign up for, require no prior knowledge, and are great for socializing and networking with others! See all the available opportunities and sign up here!
