Volunteers are key to helping our library run smoothly and efficiently. Volunteer duties include guiding activities, reading to students, and checking in, checking out, and reshelving books. If you can commit to helping out for 30-45 minutes per week, please visit the AUSD Volunteer page, and complete the Volunteer I or Volunteer II requirements. Additionally, please send a Parent Square message or email to Ms. Michelle. Please include your name, your child's name, and their teacher. Ms. Michelle's email is: mmillard-naylor@ausdk12.org. We'll begin welcoming volunteers who have received District clearance into the Library beginning the week of September 14th.
During Lunch Recess, the Library hosts 75-150 students daily. Students come to read, play games, do arts and crafts, build with Lego, solve puzzles, and more. Our games and materials get lots of use and, from time to time, need replenishing and updating. We welcome donations of the following new or lightly used items:
SWIM INTO A NEW BOOK

Donations of new or lightly used books are also welcome! Below is a list of topics and titles we would like or need to replace. We are also always in need of contact paper and book tape to cover and repair books.
