THE BASICS - START HERE!

QuickTime is already on our MacBooks
Use a microphone for loud and clear sound.
Close unneeded tabs or use dedicated window with tabs ready.
Avoid light sources behind you. Position soft light in front of you.
Use webcam! Be yourself. Record with energy, humor, and personality to engage students.
Keep length to 5 minutes or less if possible.
Use pause button to save time.
Use on-screen timer or instruct student to pause video.
Don’t aim for a perfect take. Let students know that mistakes are A-OK. Keep rolling, don’t worry about retakes.
Download to Google Drive or upload to YouTube for easy sharing.
