Work Permit Instructions
Complete the “Statement of Intent to Employ Minor and Request for Work Permit” application. Remember that your parent/legal guardian and employer must sign the application. Attach a copy of your Social Security card and take it to the AHS College & Career Center. Applications will only be accepted Monday - Friday during lunch in the Career Center.
Summer Work Permit Hours: (June 6th-August 9th)
Work permits will ONLY be issued Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9AM- 12PM.
Please allow 24hrs for applications to be processed and permits ready for pickup

Students must be employed first to apply for a work permit

Attach a copy of your Social Security card and bring to campus for processing
Only ONE Work Permit will be issued per student.
Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and a good attendance record.

Work Permit Regulations
ARCADIA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT WORK PERMIT POLICY
One Work Permit will be issued per student. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and a good attendance record.
Work hours for students are as follows:
16/17 year old students enrolled in work experience (CTE Retail Marketing) may work up to 6 hours per day and no more than 36 hours per week.
16/17 year old students not enrolled in work experience may work up to 4 hours per day and no more than 28 hours per week.
14/15 year old students may work up to 3 hours per day and no more than 18 hours per week.
