Summer 2022

ONLINE CREDIT RECOVERY

PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION REGARDING SUMMER 2022 ONLINE CREDIT RECOVERY

Students have been enrolled in the AUSD Online Credit Recovery Summer School program to make up F grades(s)/credits in course(s) required for graduation. Students may also be enrolled in the Credit Recovery Summer School program if they are in jeopardy of failing a required course for graduation on the 4th quarter progress report. If a student raises their grade to a D- or higher by final 2nd semester grades, he/she does not need to take that class in credit recovery. Please note: CLASSES ARE NOT COLLEGE-PREP.

Students attend their assigned session on campus until they have completed their online coursework. If students complete the online program prior to the ending date of summer school, Friday, July 8, a release for the remainder of the summer session will be granted. Students being released will receive final documentation of their coursework and grade, electronically signed by the teacher and approved by the summer school Principal, Mr. Keith Kerney.

Please review the orientation video as well as the instructions below.

These explain a variety of information that is essential to each student’s success in the Credit Recovery Program. The video provides information regarding: logging into the website, pretests, attendance, teacher availability and grades. The instructions contain troubleshooting strategies for Gradpoint, different ways to access Gradpoint, Online Recovery Resources and different types of shortcuts to Gradpoint on your P.C. or Mac desktop.

Please the read following information carefully:

The first login date will be on Monday, June 6th. Students are expected to be onsite during their assigned course times. Remember If a student is absent five times during the course of the class, that student will be automatically dropped from the course.

The deadline for completion of all courses is July 8th, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.

Each student’s summer school schedule may need adjustments based on the final posting of the second semester grades. It is the student’s responsibility to contact his/her counselor to request enrollment in summer school credit recovery. If there is an error or omission in your course selection, please email your counselor as soon as possible. Should you have general questions about the Online Credit Recovery program, please utilize the contact information that is provided for you in the brochure. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

I want to thank you for your continued support and remember: “It takes a village to raise a child”

Stay safe and be well.
