NO CELL PHONES - resist the TEMPTATION

(Turn off your phone and put it in your backpack before entering the class. Your phone is tired. It needs rest.)

Do not come into the classroom if you need to use your phone.

Using the phone or even having it out will result in a ZERO for class participation grade and a U in citizenship for the semester.

Attendance is taken at the bell. You must be in your seat. You will be marked ABSENT if you are not in your seat at the bell.

If you were late, your absence will not be changed until you apologize for your lateness and explanation of why you were late.
Do this at an appropriate time.  Do not interrupt the class. 

3 unexcused tardy will result in a U in citizenship for the semester.

You must work in class on the class assignments everyday at all times.

Projects that have not been created in class will not be accepted.

The teacher must see and approve your projects. You need to ask permission if any additional work will be done at home.

No late work will be accepted unless previously excused with permission. Permission for lateness will NOT be given on the due date.

If you need extra time, you may come in during lunch. Notify Ms. Mu if you are coming.

Internet is for project research use only.

Internet is not for your personal use. It’s not your personal entertainment center.

Breaking the Acceptable Technology Use Contract will automatically be referred to the Deans.

DO NOT WORK on other class assignments or any other activities even if you FEEL that you are “done” with your project. You could always reflect and improve your work.

Be open to learn, work, and be flexible to receive constructive criticism. 

If you know everything, you don't need to take a class. GO MAKE MONEY!

Be respectful and courteous to everyone and their properties. 

Do not touch someone else’s property without permission.

CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF!!!

Be in your seats after you clean up. Do not wait at the door. The teacher dismisses the class not the bell.

Violations of any of these rules will be given a U in citizenship.

Lastly, come to class prepared to learn and ready to participate with positive attitude.
