The kindness crew student action team will take the lead to inspire a culture of kindness and gratitude at Hugo Reid. The Kindness crew members will be responsible for greeting new students to help them feel welcome with a tour and positive pep talk for a great day. They will challenge students and staff to carry out random acts of kindness and show gratitude throughout the school year. They will also support school wide events such as red ribbon week and the great kindness challenge.
lunch bunch groups are open to all students at Hugo Reid and are geared towards fostering friendship and developing positive peer relations among students with the use of games and other fun activities. This group will also discuss strengths and weaknesses, communication styles, and ways to calm our bodies when we have big feelings. If your student is recommended, I will send a permission slip home for you to sign.
