Getting Started

Getting started with the tutoring program is fast and easy.

Tutoring takes place at the AHS Library Monday through Friday from 3 to 4 pm, so first head to the library. Once you arrive at the library, identify the tutors by their pictures posted up on the Tutor Roster (a sheet that lists pictures of all the tutors available for the week, and what subjects they tutor). Feel free to approach the tutor and let him or her know that you need tutoring in that specific subject for the day. And voila! That's all you need to do to start getting tutored!

To find out which tutors are tutoring on a given day, check this website or the Tutors Roster available at the AHS Library to find out the days certain tutors are available, and which subjects they offer. Then you can feel free to either drop by on that day after school or call up the tutor to reserve your tutoring spot with them the day that they are tutoring.

Be sure to arrive by 3:15 to reserve a tutor, as most tutors who have yet to receive tutees leave at 3:15. So drop by, connect with a tutor, and get started!
