WHO and WHEN:
This LANPAC KOREA 2023 (formally TechNet Korea) will occur from 17-21 April 2023 and is
sponsored by Association of the US Army (AUSA), Korea Chapter and co-sponsored by AFCEA
Korea Chapter 169 with partnership of AFCEA Osan Mustang Chapter, the Seoul SCRA and the
Korean Defense Industry Association (a MND Organization).
The event will be held at Camp Humphreys Korea. Eighth US Army, USFK and ROK MND has
endorsed this event and helped to ensure a successful event. The cost for exhibitors is $2,000 per
booth.
WHAT:
Association of the US Army (AUSA, Korea Chapter AUSA is a non-profit 501c III organization
that supports soldiers, their families and Army civilians and provides The Voice for the Army
Community to Congress, and honors those who have served. It is the Army’s premier, nonprofit,
educational and professional association. It educates those we serve (soldiers and their families,
Army civilians, retired soldiers and veterans, and the businesses and industries that support the
Army. Inform our members, Congress and the American public about issues affecting America’s
Army – Regular Army, Army National Guard and Connect America’s Total Army, its industry
partners, like-minded associations at the national, regional and chapter levels.
AFCEA International, is a non-profit membership association serving the military, government,
industry, and academia as an ethical forum for advancing professional knowledge and
relationships in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence, and global security. We do that by
developing networking and educational opportunities and providing them in an ethical forum.
This enables military, government, industry and academia to align technology and strategy to
meet the needs of those who serve.
This event is used to showcase technologies and ideas from military industries and government
in an Unclassified forum. There will be speakers and panelists from both the US and ROK
military and industry.
WHY:
AFCEA and AUSA events are held worldwide every year to help bring industry and government
closer by sharing ideas and innovative technology. The last event in Korea was held in 2019 as
TechNet Korea 2019 with participants from the 311th SIGCOM, 1st SIGBDE, USFK J2,
SOCKOR and EUSA to name a few. There has been a constant call by both industry and
government for this event to reoccur each year in Korea as a combined event to make it
economically feasible for travel to Asia industry events.
WHERE:
A total of 70 exhibitors are planned to support both ROK and US military and industry partners.
The main exhibits will be in the specially configured hall to house the growing numbers of USA
exhibitors and exhibitors from the Republic of Korea.
Panel discussions and guest speakers will include Keynote Speeches from the Combined/Joint
Forces in Korea as well as leadership training and sponsored training for soldiers to possibly earn
certification credits.
All are free to attend the exhibitions. There is limited seating for those who wish to attend the
Keynote address luncheon as well as the socials. There may be a required pay of $100/person for
non-government personnel. Those who are exhibiting will get one (or 2) ticket in their exhibit
