Jewell Elementary Online Learning Resources and Information

We Are Here For You

In this unprecedented time we are all experiencing many new, scary and hard times. We at Jewell are here to support our students and community. We miss you all and cannot wait until we can return to in person learning for everyone. s In the meantime we will try and support you all the best we can through online learning.

Communication Is Key

With so much being new and different we know communication is key.

  • You can find all staff members email here .

  • We will continue to send our Sunday Night phone calls/Emails and teachers will be communicating with families weekly.

  • If you need any extra support please reach out to your students teacher to set up a meeting. Their emails can be found on the Jewell main website.

  • Your children's teachers will communicate with you to share the expectations of what your child will work on and complete each day.

  • Staff will be using Talking Points so you can text back and forth with teachers in your home language.

  • You can also call the schools main line 303-751-8862

Daily Schedules

All 1st-5th grade students will have a virtual morning meeting with their teachers starting at 7:45 Monday- Friday.

  • Each classroom will then have a daily schedule to follow.

  • In your students Google Classroom you will find a daily schedule with links to each meeting your child will need to attend for the day.

  • It is expected students will be participating in the realtime learning with their teachers in Google Meets.

  • All lessons will be recorded and housed in the Google Classroom. This will allow students to have access to any lessons they miss and the ability to still complete the grade level work.

  • Friday will be a day for independent work and small groups. Your child's teacher will communicate the time for small group instruction or expectations for independent work.
