Hello and welcome!

I’m Mrs. Kelly Blackhart (formerly Ms. Linhart), the art teacher at Harmony Ridge P-8 School. I’m thrilled to share my love of creativity and self-expression with our amazing students!

I grew up just outside of New York City and have called six different states home, which has given me a deep appreciation for the diversity and creativity found everywhere. Since 2017, I’ve been proud to teach in Aurora Public Schools, and this is my third year inspiring young artists at Harmony Ridge.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Manhattan College and a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on Special Education from Lewis & Clark College.

Art is my passion, and I believe every student is an artist. In my classroom, we explore ideas, experiment with materials, and celebrate the joy of creating—both at school and beyond.

I’m so excited for the 2025–26 school year and can’t wait to see the amazing art we’ll make together!
