Coach Dossey has been the head coach of the boy's team since 2008 and the coach of the girl's team since 2018. He has a passion for golf and for teaching it to his players. His goal is that his team's are the classiest on the course and that they have the best short game in the state while at the same time learning this great game and improving their individual game from when they started on the team!

Coach Dossey got his start in golf a little later in life at the age of 17, but quickly fell in love with it. After working very hard at his game, he was fortunate enough to become a Assistant Professional at Hillcrest Golf Club in Durango, CO and he did that for several years before moving to the Denver area to teach at Gateway.

Coach Dossey also spent 13 years as the coach of the Gateway Baseball team while he was coaching the boy's golf team, but now has his entire focus on the golf program for both the boy's and the girl's and is looking forward to the strides each program is going to make!
