I am a photo/video editor and content creator specialising in fashion. My practice focuses on collaboration and creating a connection between fashion and other industries. During my studies for BA (Hons) Fashion Media and Marketing, I have connected fashion to other topics I'm passionate about such as K-pop and gaming. My motivation for this industry stems from my love for technology. Exploring new tools and experimenting with new software has always been key in my process of bringing ideas to life. Editing allowed me to blend my outside hobby for technology with my love for style and fashion. Outside of the creative process, I value building community. I find great importance in making sure my work feels personal and building a space where communities can thrive and fans are rewarded for their loyalty.
My work primarily centers on using creative software to refine images and bring a creative concept into reality. I am proficient using a large variety of softwares that range from free apps to paid industry standards. This includes, but is not limited to Photoshop, Premiere pro, Canva, Affinity, Indesign and Capcut. For me, I value versatility in my practice, and I believe being able to adapt to different software allows me to maximise the quality and impact of my work. My technical abilities extend beyond these programmes. I am always eager to learn and incorporate my other skills into my projects and increase the standards of my work.
Additionally, I am well educated on various social media platforms. I am skilled in my understanding of how each platform can be utilised to maximise engagement and exposure. I have experience creating content to be posted onto Tiktok, Instagram and Youtube. Consistently, I am up to date with trends, audience behaviour and know how to access and interpret analytics. I am confident in my ability to use social media strategically and to its maximised effectiveness.
I believe my best work comes when I incorporate my outside interests into my studies. I enjoy not only sharing with new people, but also embracing the more niche and “weird” interests that are typically not accepted. I create for a target audience who appreciates originality and personal expression whilst celebrating their differences. I want my work to resonate with people who have always been seen as “too weird” or “too niche”. I want them to know they are understood.
