Our Vision is to employ the latest in IT resources and technologies for capacity building through IT and related training in the AUN host community and its environment in line with the AUN strategic plan of being a developing university.
And our mission is to be a dynamic agent of change, enhancing human capacity development with focus on Information Technology in the local setting of the North-Eastern Region of Nigeria. It will create awareness on the relevance of ICT and other knowledge based skills and provides its trainees with the tools to increase productivity in the workplace and community. Since inception, the Center has trained over 5,000 individuals in IT career courses, including scholarships programs for secondary schools and the ACIT own community outreach program.
