If you do not have your cell phone and you do NOT have COVID symptoms OR have NOT knowingly been exposed to anyone with COVID, please e-mail your system admin telling them you have passed the screening.

Yes but, Company Nurse is working on an update so you will only have to do this every 7 days. Hopefully, this update will be on soon.

6. Can I change or turn off the text reminders?

Yes.

  1. Follow the link that you used to screen.

  2. In the top left corner, click the three lines.

  3. Select "Settings"

  4. Here you can turn off "Allow Notifications" or change the "Reminders Scheduled."

If you are having trouble with either of these, you can e-mail Nick Carpenter.

7. Will I receive text reminders during holidays and school breaks?

Since some of our staff in the district work over school breaks, we will work with each site location and pause text reminders when appropriate.

Individuals can always turn text reminders on or off. See FAQ #6.

8. I do not have a cell phone that receives text messages or I get charged for each text message. How do I screen?

There is an option to screen through an e-mail address. If you do not have a cell phone or get charged for each text, please e-mail Nick Carpenter to sign up for the e-mail option.

9. What if I start to experience COVID-19 symptoms or learn that I was exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19 after I have completed my screening?

You will be asked three questions:

Are you experiencing any COVID-19 like symptoms not related to allergies, COPD, or other chronic illness such as: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, muscle/body aches OR illness related to fatigue, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or running nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea

  3. In the past 14 days have you had close contact (less than 6 feet) with someone who is confirmed to have COVID-19?

These three questions are all "Yes" or "No" questions. Any specific symptoms are not reported.

12. Who will see the answers to my screening questions?

All the questions are "Yes" or "No" questions. Specific symptoms will not be reported.

Your System Admin will monitor to make sure that everyone has completed the screening and if they have passed or have been placed "On Hold." The System Admins do not look at your specific answers to each question.

If you do not pass the screening and are placed "On Hold," you will be asked to call the Human Resources Department, 925-280-3900 ext. 6623, to have a confidential conversation about the appropriate next steps.
